The SDG Awards is part of the 5th Africa Energy & Sustainability Summit 2024 in Akosombo is on the theme: “The Financial Sustainability of Africa's Energy Transition- The Role of ESG in Attracting Investment” to be held on June 28–30, 2024 at Volta Hotel, Akosombo. Concurrent events are the SGD Expo, ESG Summit, and the Afro Beats Concert.
The Think Energy SDG Awards is the first of a kind globally and awarded to global giants like Ghana National Gas Company, TotalEnergies Marketing Ghana, Ecobank Ghana Limited, University of Ghana, Legon, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi, Accra Technical University, Ghana Grid Company Limited (GRIDCO), and the Chairman of the Dangote Group of Companies, Alhaji Dangote, etc.
